Beulah W. Baines, 88, Fall Branch, passed away Saturday April 4, 2009 at Baysmont following a brief illness.
Beulah was a lifelong resident of Fall Branch and was a member of First Baptist Church of Fall Branch and the Order of the Eastern Star, Washington Chapter #57. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, J.R. Baines; her parents; and two sisters, Nell Hall and Mary Lee Hall.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Nell Jeffcoat and husband, Wayne, Fall Branch; two grandsons, Troy Jeffcoat and wife Lisa, Charlotte NC, and Jessie H. Jeffcoat, Fall Branch; four great-grandchildren, Kelly, Nathan, Timmy, and Rebecca Jeffcoat; brother, James Manley and wife, Sally, Fall Branch; nephew, Ricky Manley and wife, Paulette, Florida; niece, Susan Kiernan and husband, Mike, Sulpher Springs; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Carl Strickler and Rev. Victor Wallace officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Fall Branch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Baines, Danny Joe Baines, David Ferguson, John Ferguson, George Moody and Mike Depew.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Baysmont for their exceptional loving care.
