Beulah Mae Taylor Blizzard, of Kingsport, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born in Scott County, VA, she had lived in Kingsport most of her life. Mrs. Blizzard retired from Eastman Chemical Company following several years of service. She attended Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Blizzard; daughter, Lisa Blizzard Mahoney; grandson, David Mahoney; parents, Thurston and Hester McMurray Taylor; and two brothers, Earl Taylor and Virgil Taylor.
Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Hester and husband Bob of Crestview, FL; two granddaughters, Nichole Tarpley of Palm Bay, FL and April Blalock of Crestview, FL; three great-grandchildren, Anderson Ray Tarpley IV, Annabelle Tarpley and Cameron Blalock; one sister, Ruth Jones Cole and husband Jim of Kingsport; two brothers, Perry Taylor and wife Eunice and Ed Taylor, all of Kingsport; aunt, Zela Dominick and husband Thomas, South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Mount Carmel with Pastor J. W. Depew officiating.
