Beulah Lucille "Aunt Bill" Jones passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital, at the age of 99.
She was a faithful member of Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church in Jonesborough, TN, where she taught the children's Sunday school class and many bible school classes for 30 years. Beulah was a very caring person and all of the children and adults loved her.
Though she had no children of her own, she was a very special aunt and all of her nieces and nephews loved her dearly.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell Jones, four brothers; Luther Hite, Harley Hite, Howard Hite and William Hite, two sisters; Ruby Sumner and Maggie McCrary and niece, Linda M. Cox surviving husband, Leon.
She is survived by nieces; Mary H. Archer and husband Tony and Vendetta Hite, nephews; Kevan Hite and wife Carolyn, and Steve Hite and wife Wanda; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 7th from 6-8:00 pm. at Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church. Services will follow with Pastor Wesley Duncan and Pastor Steve Pate officiating.
Graveside services will be at on Saturday, October 8th at 11:00 am at Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Parks, Chris Jackson, Jeff Cox, Kevan Hite and Steve Hite. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church.
