Beulah Grace Sluder, 75, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 27, 2015.
She was a loving Christian and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillie Hubbard; sister, Blanche Miller; special brother-in-law, Jim Hommell; and special nephew, Lee Miller.
She is survived by her husband of 52 and a half years, Dewey Sluder; daughter, Tonya Sluder Jennings of Blountville; sons, Kevin Sluder, of Gray, Wade Sluder and wife Donna of Unicoi; Four grandchildren, Mackenzi Jennings, Alena Sluder, Payge Weaver and husband Isaac, and Brooke Barnett; sisters, Jeanelle Herron and Alberta Hommell, both of Kingsport; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Wellmont HolstonValley Medical Center and Wellmont Hospice for their loving care and support they provided during this most difficult time.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Charity Baptist Church, Blountville, TN. Services will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Charles Brooks officiating. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
