Beverly Dawn Hartsock

Beverly "Birdie" Hartsock, 48, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and enjoyed the outdoors. Birdie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Shelby Hartsock.

Birdie is survived by three sons, David Nelson, Jr. and wife, Jacqulin of Knoxville, TN, Dillon Nelson and Jeremy Nelson, both of Kingsport; three grandbabies, Alyssa, Kylie and Breanna; three sisters, Gina Pennington and husband, Jack of Kingsport, Tonya "Toddie" Hartsock and husband, Jeff of Hiltons, VA, and Brandy McDavid and husband, Kenny of Kingsport; brother, Johnny "Plug" Hartsock and girlfriend, Jessica Wright; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17th from 10-12:00 pm at Hermon United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at noon with Pastor Glenn Hicks officiating.

Interment will follow at Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Family member will be pallbearers.
