Beverly Ann Newsom

Beverly Ann Newsom, formerly of Kingsport, passed away on February 3, 2012 at White Oak Manor in Columbia, SC, following an extended illness. Born in Tifton, GA on August 11, 1942, Ms. Newsom was the daughter of the late Sheldon Morris Newsom and Elizabeth Zeigler Newsom. Ms. Newsom was most recently a resident of White Oak Manor in Columbia, SC. Ms. Newsom was the niece of the late Sam Zeigler and the late Juanita Zeigler Stokely.

Survivors include her aunt, Kitty Zeigler of Kingsport and cousins, Dave Darlene Stokely of Charleston, SC, Morgan Joyce Stokely of Columbia, SC, Sam Zeigler III, and Jenny Randy Bond, both of Knoxville, TN.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park on February 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to either the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Suite 102, Johnson City, TN 37601; or Mountain View United Methodist Church, 4405 Orebank Road, Kingsport, TN 37664.
