Bill Dove

Bill Dove, 89, of Kingsport passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019. He was born in Daulphin County, PA. Bill lived in the Harrisonburg, VA area until March 1966, moving to Kingsport, TN the same year. He worked for Mason Dixon Lines as a long distance truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Horne Dove; mother and father, Baylor C. Dove and Bernice R. Dove of Harrisonburg, VA; two sisters, Nellie Hartman of Palmyra, PA and Ava Tupnoski of Middletown, PA; and two brothers, John W. Dove of Timberville, VA and Earl W. Dove of Elkton, VA.

Bill is survived by his sisters, Patsy Klinger of Harrisonburg, VA. Carolyn Taylor of Linville, VA, and Charlotte Myers of Harrisonburg, VA.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26th at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roy Graves officiating.

Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Honorary pallbearers will be Loy Faulk, Bob Mongold, and Mens III Sunday School Class of Sunnyside Baptist Church.
