Bill Morgan

Bill Morgan, 55, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord and beloved family members on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a 1973 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School. Mr. Morgan was a lifelong automobile enthusiast and was most recently employed at Fairway Ford until his retirement. He will be missed both professionally and personally by all those who knew him. Bill was expecting his first grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, W.T. "Bill" Morgan, and a brother, Jerry Morgan.

Bill is survived by his sons, Chad Morgan and wife Lori of Church Hill, and Justin Morgan of Yuma, VA; mother, Helen J. Morgan of Kingsport; brother, Tom Morgan of Kingsport; mother of his children, Teresa Morgan of Gate City, VA; and two nephews, Chris Morgan and wife Sue of Gray and Will Morgan of Knoxville.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. A funeral service will held at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Rogersville. Pallbearers will be Mark Sampson, Chris Morgan, Tim Hill, Larry Alaniz, Steve Grubb, and Charlie Jones.
