2 Timothy 4:7-8

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing."

Bill Eugene Perry, 75, of Kingsport, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at his home. Born in Wise County, VA, he had resided in Weber City for most of his life and had lived in Kingsport for the last 20 years. He was a graduate of J.J. Kelly High School and Clinch Valley College. Bill had managed Perry's Drug Store for many years. He was a member of Homeland Baptist Church. Bill loved his Lord, singing and listening to gospel music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C.S. and Hattie Perry, and two brothers, Earl and Ralph Perry.

Bill is survived by his loving wife and caretaker, Elizabeth Perry of Kingsport; two loving daughters, Michelle Lucas and husband, Willie of Kingsport, and Cindy Feathers and husband, Don of Kingsport; loving son, Randall Perry and wife, Susie of Gray; two special loving grandchildren, Amber Carranza and husband, José, and Nikki Lucas; one special loving great-grandson, Perry Carranza; two sisters, Mildred Hughes and husband, Elmer of Wise, VA, and Margie Harris of Indiana; brother, Ed Perry of Wise, VA; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Perry of Charlotte, NC, and Louella Perry of Wise, VA; two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Oris and wife, Helen of Lafollette, TN, and Joey Oris and wife, Verdie of Gate City, VA; special granddogs, Rascal, Scooter, Molly, Harley, Pogo and Khai; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor J.W. Depew officiating.

Entombment services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Homeland Baptist Church, 2504 Hawaii St., Kingsport, TN 37660.
