Bill L. Ragsdale, 58, of Kingsport, passed away after an extended illness on Monday, November 29, 2010. He was an avid sports fan and fisherman. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Edward Ragsdale; brother, Wayne Ragsdale and an infant sister.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Sherry Ragsdale; son, Jeremiah Ragsdale and wife, Rebecka; two granddaughters, Hayley and Emily Ragsdale; sisters, Betty Franklin and husband, Ronnie, Connie Church and husband, David; brother, Edward Ragsdale and wife, Cathy; several nieces and nephews; his dog Sparky; and special friends, Paul and Teresa Aesque.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. An informal memorial service will begin at 8:00 p.m.
