Billie Elizabeth Dillow, 81 went to her heavenly home at 2:20 pm, Sunday, October 16, 2011, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. She was a born again Christian and was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church.

A native of Greeneville, SC, she moved to Kingsport with her family as a child. Billie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her. She had a heart of gold and always had a kind word and a sweet smile for anyone she met. Billie retired from the office of Allen Palmer, DDS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Sr. and Brighty Burrell; sister, Nellie Noel and brother, LeRoy Burrell.

Billie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth Dillow of the home; daughter, Debbie Liddle and husband Rick of Colonial Heights; son, Kenny Dillow and wife DeAnna Sellers of Colonial Heights; brother, Ralph Burrell, Jr., of Blountville; grandchildren, Heather Liddle-Miller and husband Ryan of Knoxville, TN. Christopher B. Liddle and wife Jennifer of Charlotte, NC, Dustin B. Clark of Church Hill; great-grandson, Blake Liddle of Charlotte, NC; nieces, Linda Marshall, Karen Burrell Long, Mitzi Stinnett; nephews, Jerry Burrell, Randy Burrell, David Burrell and Stephen Burrell; her faithful dog, "Jiggs"; and special caregiver, Barbara Miller.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport with services to follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Wes Rankin officiating.

Graveside services will be on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dustin Clark, Chris Liddle, Ryan Miller, Jerry Burrell, Jim Kirby and Jim Edmonds.
