Billie Jo Mustaklem

Billie Jo Mustaklem 81, of Kingsport, TN passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 27, 2021.  She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mom, “Nanny”, great-grandmother, sister (the oldest of seven siblings) and friend who was a homebody and loved her family.  She also loved to read, ride rollercoasters and of course, her cats.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Armen Elizabeth Combs; brother, Richard Bledsoe; and brother-in-law, Les Burke.

Billie Jo is survived by her son, Shukry Christopher Mustaklem and wife Camellia of Gate City; son-in-law, David Combs of Gray, TN; grandchildren, Justin Deem and wife, Veda, Rachel Mustaklem, Anya and Michaela Combs and Ian Marshall Combs; 4 great-grandchildren; aunt, Barbara Ann “Bobbie” Quillen of Kingsport; sisters, Phyllis Burke of Kingsport and Debra Livingston and husband, Mark of Lake Wylie, SC; sister-in-law, Melissa Bledsoe Turner and husband, Bob of Meadowview, VA; brothers, David Bledsoe and wife, Faye of Brandon, Mississippi, Tommy Bledsoe and wife, Joy of St. Augustine, FL, and Larry Bledsoe and wife, Geney of Kingsport; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Donna McLain Callahan of Kingsport; and her 2 cats, Bonnie and Romulus.

A celebration of her life service will be held Wednesday, June 30^th at 2:00pm at Morrison City Christian Church, 1940 Darnell Dr. Kingsport.  Bob Underwood, Minister will officiate.

The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the charity of your choice.
