Billy Vance Hutchins

Billy Vance Hutchins, 67, of Kingsport, went to be with his Lord, April 30, 2011 after a lengthy illness. He was employed with APAC for many years before retiring due to illness.

Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a born again Christian. Bill was dearly loved by his wife, children and grandchildren and loved by all who knew him.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, George S. Hutchins and mother, Mary Ketron Hutchins Chappell.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda G. Hutchins of the home; daughter, Anna M. Hutchins of the home; son, Jerry W. Hutchins, Kingsport; daughter, Jennifer Pitcock and husband, Jesse, Elizabethton; four grandchildren: Alita Duncan, Elizabethton, Hannaha Mullins, Kingsport, Iza Bella Pitcock and Eean Pitcock, Elizabethton; five brothers, Hobert G. Hutchins, Kingsport; George Hutchins, Jr. and wife Brenda, Blountville; Lank Hutchins and fiancé Mary Jane, Blountville; Carl Hutchins and wife Millie, Blountville; R.C. Hutchins and wife Jean, Kingsport; two sisters, Mary Olinger and husband Roy, Kingsport; Martha Olinger and husband John, Kingsport; and Judy Carter and husband Fred, Kingsport.

Bill's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 6 pm at Orebank Chapel Central Baptist Church with Rev. Leb Thornburg officiating.
