On Sunday, July 15, 2012 Birdie Inell Gordon Collins, 71, died in Hanover, MD.
Birdie was the beloved wife of the late Evans Collins. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Randall Gill Gordon.
Birdie is survived by her son, Michael E. Collins, Jr., and wife, Rachelle; daughter, Carol L. Shindledecker and husband, Bryan; brother, George Elmer Gordon; cherished grandmother of ten; and great-grandmother of two.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 21st from 3-5:00pm and from 7-9:00pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 22nd at 10:00 am with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating. Burial will follow at G.L. Trent Family Cemetery in Sneedville, TN.
