Blanche Neubert
Blanche Neubert, 88, Kingsport, formerly of Elizabethton, went to be with the Lord Sunday September 7, 2008 at Wexford House following a brief illness.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elizabethton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Neubert; great-granddaughter, Presley Marie Hester; parents, Jim and Eliza Richards; four brothers; and two sisters.
Surviving are her two daughters, Janet Johnson and husband, Jerry, and Gaye Rogers and husband, Larry, all of Kingsport; six grandchildren, Alan Johnson, Ron Johnson, Teresa Hester, Cindy Haynes, Rachel Puckett, and Chris Rogers; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Burkhart and Joyce Newton, both of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00a.m. Tuesday at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Dr. Ron Davis and Chris Rogers officiating.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
