Bobby Wade Condry, 48, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Christmas day, Monday, December 25, 2006 at his home following a brief illness.
He was a very loving husband and loved by anyone who knew him. Bob enjoyed fishing and loved animals, as well as helping others. He was also known for his great sense of humor.
Bob was of the Baptist faith and a member of Hill Top Mission Church.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Robert and Nadine Condry; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edgar and Elizabeth Williams; brothers, Curt, Jack, and Jerry Condry; sister, Sue Condry; nephew, Tony White; and nieces, Robin and Wendy Condry.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy Condry, Kingsport; sisters, Betty Grogg and husband, Fred; Genevieve Condry, Phyllis Condry, Vickie Condry, and Kathy Condry; brothers, Jeff Condry and wife, Lisa; Steve Condry and wife, Debra, all of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Sue Burns and husband, Vernon, Church Hill; and brother-in-law, Michael Williams and wife, Crystal, Church Hill.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Bennie Spears officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Lee Williams, Jackie Long, Robert Condry, Jeffery Condry, Wesley Condry, and Benny Fisher.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Condry, Steve Condry, Randy ?Hippy? Stanley, Jimmy Long, and John Powell.
