Bobby G. Guy, 82, Greeneville, passed away at his home on Monday, January 21, 2019 with his family by his side. He was a brick and block mason. Bobby had a love for Jeep rides, hunting, fishing, making sausage, playing cards, camping, traveling and buggy rides.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lochiel Guy, and 2 brothers, Danny and Tommy Guy.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Bonnie Guy; daughter, Veda (Johnny) Mitchell; 3 sons, Danny (Trinka) Guy, Brent Penley and Ashley Snead, and Richard (Missy) Guy; grandchildren, Nikki Joyce, Hunter (Kasey) Guy, Thomas and Joshua Guy, Hannah, Madison and Allison Penley, and Kaylee Whitson; great-grandson, Dj Joyce; 2 sisters, Linda Kiser and Patsy (Raymond) Nugent; brother, Wade (Helen) Guy; aunt, Madeline Depew; and several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Amedysis Hospice caregivers, Heather, Tiffany, Victoria and Cynthia and Pastor John. Special thanks also to caregivers Sue Bowser and Bea Penley.
The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch with Rev. Keith Williams and Dr. John McPheron officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 12720 Horton Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37745.
