Bobby Gene Hite, of Kingsport, went to his heavenly home Sunday, March 22, 2009, unexpectedly at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Bobby retired from Weyerhaeuser Company and was presently employed part-time with East Tennessee Auto Auction. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army with the Missile Command in Ft. Carson, Colorado.
Bob loved to fish with his close friend Russell Powers, go camping with his grandchildren and watch them play sports. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Price Hite of the home; son, Tony and wife Vicki of Fall Branch; daughter, Penny Cox and husband Tod of Kingsport; granddaughters, Ashley, Amber and Audra Hite of Fall Branch; grandson, Hunter Cox of Kingsport; brothers, Samuel P. Hite, Jr. and wife Lyndall of Kingsport, Mitchell Lynn Hite and wife Jennifer of Fall Branch; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 Tuesday, March 24th, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch.
Private Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Rock Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
