Bobby E. Roberts

Bobby E. Roberts, 43, of Greeneville, died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at his home.

He was born in Greene County and had been a lifelong resident. He was employed by M&M Farm Supply and a member of Bethany Freewill Baptist Church.

Bobby was a loving husband and father.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ben Roberts; aunt Louise Groseclose; and cousin Russell Groseclose.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Light Collins; son, Bobby Roberts, Jr. "Littleman" of the home; daughters, Bridget Light "Baby Girl" of the home, and Cherrie Rosenbaum of Fall Branch; mother, Maxie Bowman and friend, Richard Greene, Rogersville; grandmother, Mary Belle Roberts, Greeneville; sister Tammy Roberts, Chuckey; special mother-in-law Jewell Helton "Maw," Greeneville; special uncle, Carl Ray Roberts, Greeneville; special friend, Jerry Morrell; special cousin, Lorina Mathes Strong, Chuckey; special niece & nephew, Malachi Dean & Christalyne Dean, Chuckey, Donnie Collins, Greeneville; and several aunts, uncles & cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, April 23 at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Donnie Bailey and Rev. Roger Dykes officiating. Music will be provided by Janet Shipley.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Bethany Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Reed, Ronnie Bledsoe, Doug Gouge, Chance Morrell, Brad Shaw, Kevin Garber. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Armstrong, Randall Dickenson, Ricky Dean and Malachi Dean.
