He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Shelton; paternal grandparents, William McKinley Shelton and Roxie Shelton Wilkerson; maternal grandparents, Paul Miller and Irene Miller Hunt; uncle, Don Miller; and aunt, Robena Shelton Lane.
Survivors include his mother, Ann Miller Shelton; son, Bobby Paul JR Shelton, Jr.; brother, Terry Shelton and wife, Pam; uncles, Dennis Miller, Willis Shelton and wife Irene, Gerald Shelton, Doug Shelton, and Audley Shelton and wife Lynn; three nephews, Jimmy Shelton, William Shelton, and Michael Shelton; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday. No services are scheduled at this time.
