Bobby Jack Short, 70, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 18, 2008.
Bobby was a taxidermist and a heating and air conditioning technician.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Anna Faye Galloway and Howard Short; a son, Jeffrey Short Woods; and nephews, Kennith Short and Daniel Little.
Surviving are two daughters, Penny Ketron and husband, Steve of Kingsport, Regina Hubbard and husband Johnny of Kingsport; one son, Robert Daniel Short and wife Robin of Kingsport; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Leah Bohen, Linda Sue Phillips; and two brothers, Junior Short and Robbie Drinnon.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor James O. Hagy officiating.
