Bonnie Wilcox Flanary, 89, Carters Valley, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Erwin Health Care. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Allie Wilcox.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Flanary; brothers, Arthur and James Wilcox; six sisters, Opal Cowden, Belle Bernard, Lizzie Smith, Blanch McGlothin, Maggie Harris, and Ena Hobbs.
Bonnie is survived by a sister-in-law, Martha Wilcox, and several nieces and nephews.
There are no formal visitation services scheduled.
The family is asked to meet at the funeral home by 2:30 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013, to go in procession to the graveside service at Walnut Chapel with interment at 4:00 p.m. with Pete Burns of Baileyton officiating.
The family wishes to thank Erwin Health Care and Caris for their tender care.
