Bonnie Shepherd Hayden, 88 of Church Hill, died at 10:55 am Thursday December 24, 2009 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Born in Sullivan County, Mrs. Hayden lived in Hawkins County most of her life.
She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Sue Shepherd of Johnson City; two sons, William E. Shepherd and wife Debbie of Blackshear, GA, and Doyle Shepherd and wife Valdean of Church Hill; 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson.
The family will receive friends Monday Dec. 28, 2009 from 5 to 7 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Rev. Edward Shepherd officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday in Church Hill Memory Gardens.
