Bonnie H. Tilson

Bonnie Tilson, 91, of Kingsport, went home March 1, 2013, after a brief illness. She worked as an LPN at Holston Valley Medical Center until her retirement. Bonnie was a long-time member of Glen Alpine United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tilson; daughter, Brenda L. Tilson-Cox; grandson, John Homer Tilson; parents, Minnie and Frank Howard; four sisters; and one brother.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Deborah L. Tilson; grandsons, Brandon Tilson and Christopher Cox; granddaughters, Karen Buck and Heather Schwartz; great-grandchildren, Cory and Krista Cross; sisters, Emily Daniel and Nancy Mercer; sisters-in-law, Barbara Stroud, Wynona Williams, Charlotte Turner, Carolyn Tilson and Bea Tilson; and several nieces and nephews.

An inurnment service will be conducted on Monday, March 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor J.W. Depew officiating.
