Brandi Nicole ?Queen Bee? Stanley, 28, went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born January 27, 1979, Brandi was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and attended Airport Christian Church. She was a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend. Brandi was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Roy Stanley.
Brandi is survived by her beautiful daughter, Averi Hinkle; her father and mother, Jimmy and Kathy Stanley; two sisters, Jessica and Ashtyn; grandmothers, Elaine Stanley and Gay Feathers; uncle and aunt, Greg and Suzanne Stanley; uncle, Don Stanley; special cousins, Heather and Matt Stanley; her niece, Lillian Ratliff; and very special people in her life, Jeff Hinkle, Phyllis Gentry, and Carly Higgins.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors and nurses at Kingsport Oncology for their very special care and friendship.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport and any time at the home of her parents, 4109 Lindenwood Drive, Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Richard K. Dice officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Holston View Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home at 1:15 p.m. to go in procession.
Pallbearers will be Greg Stanley, Matt Stanley, Don Stanley, Jeff Hinkle, Jeffrey Hinkle, and Doug Carter.
