Brenda C. Campbell

Brenda C. Campbell, 65, "Memaw", Watauga, died on February 15, 2015. She was born in Kingsport on November 19, 1949 to Paul and Charlotte Gragg. Brenda worked for Hughes Aircraft in Fullerton, CA for 28 years. She was elected as the 1st woman to serve as President of their Manager's Club.

She leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, in-laws and friends throughout East Tennessee and California. She also was a memaw to so many others.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Doris Gragg; brother, Marty Gragg; and daughter, Laura Martinez Navarro.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Campbell; son, Frank Martinez of Johnson City; step-daughter, Laura Schadle of Springfield, VA; granddaughters, Bryanna , Jessica, and Justina Navarro, and Savanna and Oliva Martinez, all of Kingsport, Campbell, and Colleen Schadle of Springfield, VA, Sophie Martinez of Jonesborough, and Libby Rasniek of Jonesborough; grandsons, Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Martinez, of Clifton Forge, VA, and Jacob Martinez, of Oak Ridge, and Caleb Jenkins of Jonesborough; and great-grandchildren, Yazmina and Julian Good; sisters, Diana and Kathy Gragg, of Kingsport.

A celebration of life will be held on March 6, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Springdale Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 1616 Haga Rd., Kingsport, TN.
