Brenda Joyce Carrico, 57, of Kingsport passed away Friday, March 25, 2011, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Vesta and Clyde Chase; sister Phyllis Williams; brother Junior Chase; and son Brandon Todd Carrico, all of Kingsport.
Survivors include her daughter, Priscilla Johnson; sons, Roy Carrico Jr. and Travis Frye; two special grandchildren, Michael and Shanda Johnson; special nephew, Brandon Fields; several nieces and nephews; sister, Glenda Barrett; two special friends, Edna Haggler and Darlene all of Kingsport.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Sunday, March 28, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport with services beginning at 8 pm with Evangelist Bill Ball officiating. Burial will be at 11 am Monday in the Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
