Brenda Kaye Winegar Dean
Brenda Kaye Winegar Dean, 54, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Born in Kingsport where she was a lifelong resident, Brenda was a graduate of Sullivan West High School. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, spending time with and taking care of her entire family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice "Bea" Winstead; sister, Tammy Puckett; aunt, Ida Dykes; and uncles, Homer Ryans and Howard "Bunch" Ryans.
Survivors include her son, Chris Dean and wife Samantha of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Peyton Dean, Kaitlin Dean, and Brady Dean; sisters, Sharon "Sis" Patrick and husband Gary of Rogersville and Sue Neeley and husband Rick of Kingsport; brothers, Bobby Winegar and wife Debbie, Mark Puckett and wife Jennifer, Tim Puckett and Cena, Roger Puckett and wife Faye, David Puckett and wife Kathy, all of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow with Pastor Emery Clint Ramey officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
