Brenda Fatherree

Brenda Graybeal Fatherree, 47, Johnson City, went to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities and was a graduate of Sullivan South High School, class of 1984. Brenda was employed by Ross of Kingsport. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Lee Fatherree of Johnson City; two daughters, April Light of Kingsport and Emily Fatherree of Jonesborough; two sons, Scotty Light and fiancée, Jennifer Davis of Kingsport and Devin Fatherree of Jonesborough; one expected grandson, Simon Light; parents, Frank and Christine Graybeal of Fall Branch; three sisters, Ann Murray and husband, Justin of Kingsport, Hazel Keels and husband, Junior of Piney Flats and Sherry Crawford and husband, Joe of Bluff City; brother, Melvin Andrew Graybeal and wife, April of Fall Branch; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm with Pastor Joe Barber and Rev. Bob Tripp officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 am at Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
