Brenda Sue Malone

Brenda Sue Malone, 74, of Limestone, TN, went to be with the Lord, Sunday morning, May 1, 2022 at her home. Brenda was born in Greenville, SC but resided here for most of her life. Brenda retired from Magnavox in Greeneville, TN and then she worked at Durham Hensley Nursing Home. She was a member of Cherry Hill FWB Church. Brenda loved playing the guitar at church.

Brenda is preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Carter Dale Malone and her sister, Reba Cox. She is survived by her son, Sparky Barnes and his wife, Chelsey; her daughter, Brandy Cogdill, her stepchildren, Steven and Lynette Malone, Jeff and Amy Malone, Tammy and Joe Solomon, her grandchildren, Laney Davidson, Mason Street, Cody Barnes, her step-grandchildren, Cory Malone, Anna Brooke Bowers, Adam Solomon and Courtney Jones.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.  Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Jerry Malone, officiating. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5^th at Cherry Hill FWB Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Poore, J. R. Young, Randy Eastep, Scotty Royston,  Carson Whitt and Jeremy Quillen. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Smith, Adam “Cotton” Campbell, David Edwards, Heath Cox and Kevin Kinsler.
