Brett Eric Berry

Brett Berry, 35, of Kingsport passed away on April 5, 2020.   He was born in Kingsport and lived all his life in this area.  Brett was a graduate of Volunteer High School and Northeast State.

He is survived by his parents, Lynn and Mary Berry; brother, Bart Berry; niece, Cheyene Berry; several aunts, one special aunt, Gladys Penny and special uncle, Tommy Peterson and many cousins; his lifelong companion and friend, Tamara Hammonds and his Godparent and friend, Robert Johnson.

Brett was saved and baptized at Fort Robinson Baptist Church. He attended Ridgeview Baptist, Homeland Baptist and First Apostolic Church.

Brett loved life and Gods great outdoors, he hunted, fished, camped and hiked. Brett worked at AGC during summer breaks and then after graduation until 2012. The last couple of years he worked as a bail bondsman.

Due to the Covid-19 concerns, a family graveside service was held Saturday April 11, 2020. The service and music were provided by Damon Depew.  A celebration of life service, will be held at a later date.
