Bryan S. Meredith, 48, of Watauga Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at his home. Bryan was born April 30, 1962 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Keith and Bernell Meredith. At an early age, he moved with his family to Leesburg, Fla. where he attended Leesburg schools and later worked in the construction business. Years later he moved to the family farm in Watauga, becoming the fourth generation to live on the property. Bryan loved the land and farming. He generously shared his abundance with family and friends.

An avid sportsman, he was an expert hunter and fisherman. He acquired his love of the outdoors from his father and, in turn, passed it along to his sons. Bryan had a generous, kind spirit and he leaves behind many loving family members and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kathie of Watauga; sons, Andrew of Gainesville, FL, Garner and Noah, of Watauga; parents, Keith and Bernell Meredith of Leesburg; brother Thomas Meredith of Ocala, FL; sisters, Caroline Champion and her husband Bob, of Leesburg, Eva Miller and her husband Warren of Deep Gap, NC and Marjorie Meredith of Johnson City, TN; former wife, Chris Carlton, of Lady Lake, FL; nephews, Keith Meredith of Ocala and Matt Champion, of Leesburg; and niece, Blair Champion of Leesburg.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at Watauga Baptist Church, Watauga, TN, with the Rev. Randy Lester and the Rev. Art Webb officiating.
