Carl Edward Rochester

Carl E. Rochester, 60, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Indian Path Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Sullivan County, TN on June 2, 1952, a son of the late Dewey and Ella Rochester, he had resided in this area his entire life. Carl had been employed at B & E Collision since 1995.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Peggy Sams, and a brother, Tracey Salyer.

Carl is survived by his wife, Helen Rochester; daughters, Maranda Crabtree and husband, C.J., Nakita Rochester and Ronnie Roberts; step-father, Harold Salyers; brothers, Phil Rochester and wife, Valerie, Randall Rochester and wife, Cheryl, Johnny Rochester, and Chad Salyer and wife, Betsy; sister-in-law, Marie Morrison and Larry; grandchildren, Chelsy Rochester, Kaydence Crabtree, Steven Roberts, Hayden Rochester, Kelsy Roberts, and Little Ronnie Roberts; special friends, Ben and Joyce Lifford, Jeff Lukens and wife, Miranda, Randy Williams, Richard Cleek, and Larry Robertson; and four special nieces and three nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 2, 2013, from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Ellis Roberson officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, May 3, 2013, at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jessie Ward, Randy Williams, Justin Williams, Steve Laney, Richard Cleek and Thomas Ripley. Honorary pallbearers will be CJ Crabtree and Ronnie Roberts. Those attending committal services are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 10:15 am Friday and then proceed to the cemetery.

The family would like to thank all of the nurses on the fourth floor, Dr. Moore and Dr. Campbell at Indian Path Medical Center.
