Carol Jean Odom Bingham

Carol Jean Odom Bingham, 56, of Kingsport, went with Jesus to Paradise on Saturday, April 28, 2012.

She graduated from Ketron High School and King College. Carol worked at AeroJet in Jonesbourgh.

Carol was an elder of Waverly Road Presbyterian Church. She was a loving wife, stepmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.

The family extends a special thank you to Kingsport Oncology doctors and nurses, and the nurses of the Sixth Floor of Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Third Floor of Wilcox Hall, and Vanderbilt Oncology.

Carol is survived by her husband, Steve Bingham of Kingsport; her parents, Josie and Lonnie Odom; stepson, Clint Lynna Bingham of Gray; brothers, Darrell Odom and Rod Odom of Kingsport, and Mark Joy Odom of Knoxville; nieces and nephews, Darrell Jr. Nikki Odom, Amanda Josh Short, Charles Odom, Skyler Justin Taylor, Rochelle Jarrod Snead, and Chandler Lucy Odom; three great-nephews; one great-niece; and nineteen cousins.

A memorial services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Waverly Road Presbyterian Church with a Celebration of Life to follow in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Waverly Road Presbyterian Church Food Ministry where Carol was a volunteer, 1415 Waverly Road, Kingsport, TN 37664.
