Carol England

Carol England, 65, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully, with a smile on her face, to be with the Lord, Sunday (March 9, 2014) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a long illness.

Born in Kingsport on August 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Harry and Juanita Duckworth, she has resided in Kingsport most of her life. She was of the Holiness faith and attended numerous churches in the area.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth (Kay) England, and two brothers, Ron Duckworth and Butchie Duckworth.

She is survived by her sister, Loretta Migwig, Glen Rock, PA; daughter, Tammy England and companion Karen Griffith of Kingsport; son, Tim England and wife Amy of Kingsport; five grandchildren, Jennifer Christian, Kayla Addington and husband, Collin, Brittany England, Zack England and Gabriel England; one of her greatest joys, great-grandson, Aiden Addington; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special pets, her cat, B.J. and her dog, Sammy.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, and at other hours at the residence of her daughter, Tammy England, 2204 Hall Street, Kingsport, TN. The service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Vannoy and Pastor J.W. Depew officiating.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Those attending graveside services are asked to assemble at the gravesite by 9:50 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Zack England, Gabriel England, Collin Addington, Gene Roberts, Jeff Rasnake, and Austin Rasnake. Honorary pallbearers will be Sally Sexton, Carolyn Shipley, Norma Jean Hatton, and Ilene Gott.
