Carol Whitaker

Carol Whitaker, 86, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on November 30, 2011. She will be remembered for her spirit, compassion and positive attitude in everything she did. Carol was the best "Mom" to all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Whitaker, Jr. and her parents, James and Wanda Clark.

Carol is survived by her son, Robert Whitaker and wife, Mary; daughter, Deborah Harris and husband, Dick; son, Jim Whitaker and wife, Billye; son, Thomas Whitaker and wife, Lisa; five grandchildren, Erin Whitaker Williams and husband, Jack, Megan Whitson Lee and husband, Stephen, James Whitaker, Jr. and wife, Hailey, Brittany Whitaker, and Polly Hagedorn and fiancé, Bill Agee; three great-grandchildren, Robert Whitaker Williams, James Whitaker III and Jacob Whitaker.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park with The Rev. Mike Nolan officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff of Church Hill Health Services and Rehab for their wonderful care of Mom.
