Carroll Reece Fine
Carroll Reece Fine, 86, a native of Kingsport, passed away at Wexford House on Friday, November 30, 2007 after having a stroke on August 31, 2007.
He was a graduate of Gordon Military College, a champion tennis player, a veteran of World War II and a continuous member of the American Legion for over 50 years. During his early years, he worked at Sobel?s Men?s store and was retired from the Sullivan County School System.
Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Sally B. and Homer R. Fine; and his wife, Sarah Randolph Fine.
He is survived by his daughter, Josie Fine Gibboney of Greensboro, NC.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Home National Cemetery with the V.A. Chaplain officiating.
