Catharine Hatcher Roberts, 77, passed away on October 8, 2014 at 11:40 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde T. Roberts; her parents Juliet and Ed Hatcher; her brothers, Thomas Y. Hatcher and Eugene Hatcher; and three infant siblings.
Catharine is survived by two nieces and two nephews, Deborah Hatcher Armel, Susan Hatcher Knight (James), Richard T. Hatcher, and Robert E. Hatcher; two great-nieces, Sarah Armel and Kylie Hatcher; and three great-nephews, Thomas Armel, James Knight III "Trey", and Jacob Knight.
She loved all young people and took many into her life, including Nicky and Brad Compton, and their children Andrew, Austin, Abigail, and Archer; the children of her cousin, Judith McHaney Paul (Milton), Laura Paul Kovacich (Bill), Lynn Paul Spradling (Wade), and Leon Paul (Gloria) and their three sons, Cory, Austin, and Colton; and Barbara Lee and daughters Beth and Holly.
Visitation for family and close friends will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on October 17, 2014, with burial to follow at Mt. Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, Tennessee at 1:45 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holston Habitat for Humanity, 750 E. Main St., Kingsport, TN 37660.
