Chadwick Chad Everett Light

Chadwick Chad Everett Light, 28, of Rogersville, born May 15, 1981, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 21, 2009. Chad was a member of Beech Creek Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish and was employed with Chip Hale Center in Rogersville.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clyde Light, Jr.

Chad is survived by his wife, Erin Light; daughter, Emma Grace Light; parents, Anthony and Beverly Light of Rogersville; sister, Leiann Light of Rogersville; loving grandparents, Blanch Light and Bernie and Lillian Morrison, all of Rogersville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Darla Walker, of Greeneville; aunts and uncles, Darlene and David Boucher of Boise, ID, Mary and Timothy Mullins and Melissa and Johnny Christian, all of Church Hill; and several cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Dr. Bobby Bernard officiating.

A private family burial will be held on Friday. Pallbearers will be Timothy Mullins, Johnny Christian, Howard Light, George Bernard, Rex Bernard, and John Smith.
