Chandra Michelle Sizemore

Chandra Michelle Sizemore died on February 23, 2008 as a result of injuries from a car accident in Kingsport, Tennessee. She was born on Mother's Day, May 9th, 1976 in Sullivan County, TN and moved to Monterey, California July 6, 1977. Chandra attended elementary schools in Pacific Grove and Salinas and graduated from Salinas High School.

Chandra was a remarkable student with interests in travel, pets, health foods and computers. She visited Manila, Philippines as a child with her aunt and uncle and was part of an international exchange program to Copenhagen, Denmark.

Recently Chandra had relocated back to her birthplace to be near her mother's extended family. She currently attended Oak Grove Baptist Church where she was dedicated by her parents as a young child. Chandra had recently been baptized as a statement of her faith.

Chandra is survived by her mother, Rebecca A. Skrdla, Salinas, CA and father, Michael J. Sizemore of Denver, Colorado, her sister, Courtney Elizabeth Skrdla, San Diego, step father, Robert W. Skrdla, Hollister, CA and Chandra's fiancé, Donald Neary of Kingsport, TN. She also leaves behind many extended family members that she loved deeply as well as friends and co-workers from her place of employment in Johnson City, TN.

Visitation will be held at the Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home in Kingsport, on Monday, February 25, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Services will be held at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mount Carmel, TN. on Tuesday, February 26 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Randall Presnell officiating. A private family graveside service will be held following the service.
