Charlene Cloyd

Charlene Forrest Cloyd, 79, of Fall Branch, passed away on Wednesday, October 24th at Four Oaks Health Care in Jonesborough. Born in Washington County, she had lived in this area all of her life. She attended Oak Hill Baptist Church and was a talented seamstress. Charlene enjoyed southern gospel music and making crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Glen and Mary Fluella Cloyd; brothers, Arville, Robert and Dennis; and sister, Lorrene Williams.

Charlene is survived by several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Alison and Josh Garner, Gary and Kathy Kimery and Chuck Jones.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 25th from 4-6:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm with Rev. Vic Wallace and Richard Looney officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 26th at 10:00 am at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Painter, Bobby Garst, Ricky Cloyd, Josh Garner, Donny Penix, and Gene Cloyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Jones, Troy Arnold, Dr. Balckwelder, Dr. McElroy and Gary Kimery.
