Charlene Bobbie Hunt

Charlene Bobbie Hunt passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at her home. She was born on February 27, 1922 in Duffield, Virginia, the daughter of Charlie and Cora Peterson. Bobbie came to Kingsport at an early age. She worked at Eastman Chemical Company in the 1950's. Bobbie attended Kingsport Community Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul N. Hunt; two brothers, Frank Peterson and James Peterson; three sisters, Ruby Jones, Cecile Blizard, and Bonnie Peterson; and a much loved son-in-law, Verlin A. Crawford.

Bobbie is survived by one daughter, Paula Crawford, of Kingsport; one granddaughter, Libby Cradic and husband, Mike; Two great-grandsons, Devin Cradic and Andrew Cradic; several nieces and nephews; and a special nephew, Marvin Blizard and wife, Ann.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 14th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15th at Oak Hill Memorial Park, with Rev. Ron Lowe officiating.
