Charles W. Booher, 85, of the Double Springs Community, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 22, 2010.
Charles was a quiet, gentle man of integrity and love. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends. He brought joy to all of those who loved him.
As a Christian, Charles loved the handiwork of God's creations. His pleasures were in the simple things, such as watching a mother bird care for her babies, growing flowers and vegetables, mowing his lawn, and just sitting in the sunshine.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Flora Booher and Allen Booher; sisters, Ruth Hamilton, Louise Booher, Mary Dell Booher, Irene Booher; and brothers, Denver Booher and Avery Booher.
Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Dorothy Thomas Booher; daughter, Carolyn Booher Harris; son, Steven Charles Booher and wife Linda; two granddaughters, Sarah Booher Hardin and husband Steve and Catherine Harris Hincke and husband Jason; one soon-to-be great-grandson, Gavin Hardin; two special little friends, Garrett and Tanner Leonard; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Asbury at Baysmont for the loving care given to Charles and his family during this time.
