Charlotte Shepherd Crawford, 47, of Kingsport, died Friday morning, February 25, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a homemaker. Charlotte was an avid Eagles music fan. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Clifford Shepherd 1996 and Juanita Shepherd 1998.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Crawford; two daughters, Amanda Crawford and Rachel Crawford, all of the home; one sister, Joyce Bledsoe and husband Junior of Hiltons, VA; aunts, Betty Ramey of Nickelsville, VA, Linda Castle of Duffield, VA, Sue King and husband Ted of Gray, TN, and Edith Hull of Maryland; and uncle, Bobby Joe Shepherd of Gray, TN.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport or any time at the home of her sister, Joyce Bledsoe, 148 Mercury Lane, East Carters Valley Road 276-225-5522. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Brother Larry Tolley officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Depew's Chapel Church Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie McClellan, Kevin McConnell, Dusten Osborne, Matt Ketron, Dylan Robertson, Stanley Pruitt, and Bill Rhoton.
