Charlotte Peavler

Charlotte Vicars Peavler, 59, of Gray was called home Tuesday evening, March 29, 2011 at her home following a brief illness.

Charlotte was born in Kingsport where she resided prior to moving to Gray in 2003. She was a member of Gray Station Baptist Chapel.

Survivors include her husband, John Peavler of Gray; daughter Wendy Hope and husband, Steven of Crown Point, IN; son Justin Peavler and wife, Rachel of Kingsport; five grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Blake, McKenzie, Cadence; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Lee and Julia Thornburg Vicars; two sisters, Carolyn Gilreath of Blountville; Sandra Galloway of Kingsport, four brothers, Norman Vicars, Jerry Vicars and wife, Sarah, David Vicars, all of Kingsport, and Timothy Vicars and wife, Penny of Fall Branch..

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Saturday, April 2, 2011at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. The service will begin at 7 pm with Pastor Arden Taylor and Pastor Gary Eads officiating.
