Chassie Lee Cody

Chassie Lee Cody, 81, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2016 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Cody; parents, Willie and Bonnie Light; three brothers, Harvey, J.W., and Clifford Light.

Chassie is survived by her two sons, Brian Cody and Jason Cody; one brother, Robert Light and wife, Phyllis; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Ray Amos, Sr., officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at East Lawn Memorial Park.
