Cindy Vaughn Flanary, 48, Knoxville, formerly of Kingsport, left this world on Wednesday, June 20, 2012.
She was attending the University of Tennessee, where she was an avid football fan. Cindy was a loving mother, daughter and sister; and a compassionate friend to many.
Preceding her in death were an infant son, Travis Flanary; and a sister, Vicky Vaughn.
Cindy is survived by two sons, Daniel Hood of Knoxville and Chase Flanary of Oxford, Mississippi; her parents, Harold and Ruth Vaughn of Kingsport; one sister, Becky Hamilton and husband Bill of Kingsport; one brother, Herby Vaughn and wife Brandy of North Carolina; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. E. C. McKinley officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the McKinney's Chapel Cemetery in Rogersville.
