Cindy Templeton Wright-Nollman

Cindy L. Templeton Wright-Nollman, Blountville, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013.

She was born on March 7, 1956 on a snowy day in Kingsport, TN, to William P. Templeton, M.D., and Betty Jean (Alves). Cindy enjoying sewing, cross-stitching, needlepoint and creating flowerbeds to soothe and calm the eye. She so loved horses and cherished her cats, being a past breeder of Himalayans, Siamese and Cocker Spaniels.
She also enjoyed cooking, a gift she inherited from her dear mother, loving to hear, "Gee, Mom, that was a great meal." Cindy loved to joke and make others laugh. Putting a smile on someone's face always made her day.

Cindy was also known as "Leilah" to many friends, acquaintances, and the community which she was so very proud of. Known for her heart of gold, she would help others in need, be it a person or an animal. She would put others first over herself, all the while feeling joy in her heart.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Christopher Scott Blakley.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond M. Nollman, Blountville; her beloved and cherished daughter, Amber Wright, Kingsport; her dearest friend and ex-husband, C. Glen Wright, Kingsport; two sisters, Barbara J. Templeton, CA and Robin Ghosh and husband, Ron, Mt. Airy, MD; one brother, Scott Templeton and wife, Melinda, Piney Flats, TN; three stepchildren, Penny Nollman, Tray Nollman, and Matthan Nollman, all of Georgia. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, Tristan Nollman, GA, Tacoda, Travis, Patrick and Sarah Nollman; three nieces, Lauren Wysong, Candace Templeton, and Erica Dunbar; four nephews, Todd Blakley of Kingsport, TN, Tommy Williams, Jason Williams and Jonathan Williams, all of Georgia; and lifelong friend, Valerie Boswell of Lynn Mass.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. J. W. Depew officiating.
