C.L. Chase

C.L. Chase, 68, Fall Branch, TN, left his earthly home on April 23, 2018. He graduated from Sullivan High School in 1970 and retired from Eastman Chemical Company. C.L. loved horses and riding with friends, and sold tack on the side. C.L. met many great friends along the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fern and Leonard Chase.

C.L. is survived by his sister, Pam Greer and husband, Bill; aunt, Dora Mae Hale; and several cousins.

A special thanks to Lynn and Jennifer Taylor, Troy Hood, David and Vicki Frasier, Paul Peters, and to the lifesaving crew for their help.

The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 pm on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Mike Street and Rev. Jerry Musick officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at East Tennessee Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Frazier, Lynn Taylor, Indiana Calloway, Scott Peters, Manuel Steffey and Jackie Barron. Honorary pallbearers will be Jennifer Taylor, Paul Peters, Troy Hood, Danny Coffman and his riding buddies.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 3101 Browns Mill Rd., #6, PMB 321, Johnson City, TN 37604.
