Claes Sven Hallstrom, 61, of Blountville, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at his home.
Born in Malmö, Sweden, he had resided in Stuart, FL until 2000 before moving to Michigan where he lived until 2004. He had resided in Blountville since 2004. Mr. Hallstrom was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a Nuclear Construction Field Engineer and had lived a hardy and good life.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Sven and Marguit Hallstrom; sister, Gunilla Hudgens; and aunt and uncle, Ruth Hallstrom and Enar Hallstrom.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Dawn Hallstrom of the home; two daughters, Julie Mobberly and husband, Scott and Linda Vavruska; two stepsons, Scott Iadonisi and wife Lia, and Daniel Iadonisi; one step-granddaughter, Ashley Sue Iadonisi; five cousins, Nels Hallstrom, Brian Hallstrom, Cindy Trefelner, Dianne Radebaugh, and Gail Flefche; and one niece, Tish Hudgens.
